Where should i be questing at level 75
You do not need great gear to play most story content. This includes Heroics, planetary quests, and story chapters. You do not need great gear for bolstered group content. You should strive for great gear if you plan on playing these types of activities:.
There are two types of gear in the game — moddable, and unmoddable. Moddable gear is gear you can change the stats of, while unmoddable gear is static gear with the stats attached directly to the piece of armor. For endgame gearing, you will want to have 9 pieces of moddable armor:.
Moddable pieces of gear — the right hand side and your mainhand and offhand at the bottom. At level 75, a large majority of pieces you pick up will be moddable.
Your other pieces of gear, including your earpiece, implant, relics, and tactical item can never be modded. The stats of moddable pieces of gear are made up by the modifications in the gear. Modifications are individual parts that make up each piece of armor — most pieces of armor have an Armoring, a Mod, and an Enhancement, except for belts and bracers which only have and Armoring and Mod no Enhancement.
You can mix and match these modifications to either upgrade your stats, or to create a different combination of stats. When you hover your mouse over a piece of armor, it will show the individual stats of the Armoring, Mod and Enhancement. This is very useful, because you might get a piece of gear that appears as an upgrade in your inventory with a green arrow, but maybe only some of the modifications inside it are useful to you.
Make sure to scroll over a piece of gear to see its item rating and stats. Do not trust the up arrow. In some cases, it incorrectly reports that the item is not better than your current piece — even if it has a higher item rating.
This will open the Modification window. You can do this from your inventory or from your equipment panel. You can also use this same window to add cosmetic items to your gear including non-reusable dyes, weapon tunings, and color crystals. Being able to move modifications to other pieces becomes helpful as you build up your set of gear.
If you receive a second pair of gloves, it might not be as good as the pair you have on… but the individual modifications and enhancements in the second pair of gloves still might be better than the mods you have in your helm or boots. Comparing two pieces of armor. The piece I have equipped is on the left. The new piece I got is on the right. The green Stat Changes on the left show that this will be an upgrade to my stats, and the higher item rating on each of the modifications shows it will be better for my item rating.
When switching mods, make sure not to accidentally delete any modifications you want to keep when putting new ones in — first remove the ones you want to keep, then add the new ones. Tech Fragments are a new type of level 75 currency that you can use to buy endgame gear. Tech Fragments are a legacy-bound currency, which means you can collect them on any of your characters and spend them on any of your characters.
You can see how many you have in the currency tab of your inventory. You can only hold up to 5, Tech Fragments at a time.
This bonus shows up on a gold bar, and when clicked, will bring you to the activity that gives bonus renown points for the day. That activity sometimes also offers extra rewards.
Most players will save up their Tech Fragments to buy their preferred set bonus gear shells and their preferred tactical item if they were not lucky enough to get them through the other random-chance gearing methods. These tech fragment vendors sell set bonuses that work for all classes, and set bonuses that work only for specific classes. The Tech Fragments vendors are located in the corner of the supplies section of the fleet.
There is one for each class n your faction, and they sell set bonus gear shells and tactical items. These pieces are very expensive, but set bonus gear shells are the best gear shells you can get in the game. Located in the supplies section of the fleet, the Spoils of War vendor sells unidentified versions of all pieces of armor and modifications except tacticals, amplifiers and augments.
If you do not, the vendor will take your tech fragments and give you nothing. The most efficient way to level up is called Power Leveling. This concept involves leveling up one character in the fastest and easiest possible path, by knowing which exact locations in the game give the most experience, always keeping in mind the leveling mechanics. This process applies to any character regardless of the build you use, and you can use it whether you're playing solo or multiplayer.
Just keep in mind that you will need to clear most of the mentioned Quests before you're able to host your own public game to repeat them with other players. Once you have access to Tal Rasha's Tomb, just repeat it as long as you need until you get to level At this point in the game, you need to kill the Ancients to complete the quest "Right of Passage", the fifth and penultimate quest of Act V.
This will allow you to access Baal's throne room, which is the next step of this process. When you hit Level 25 you will have a choice to make.
You can now do runs of either the Chaos Sanctuary or the Baal fight. After you reach Level 40, and with it, Nightmare difficulty, you will need to rush from Act I to Act V and complete the quest "Right of Passage" since you want to kill the Ancients to get to the next point.
After you reach level 60, you will need to rush from Act I to Act V and complete the quest "Right of Passage" in Hell difficulty, since you want to kill the Ancients to get to the next point. Keep in mind that this is Hell difficulty, and things get really spicy from now on. Ok, you made it to the final step, this is it, the end of the road. At this point in the game, you can start by doing Hell Chaos Sanctuary runs as soon as you get to act 4 to gear up yourself with good items, and then complete the "Right of Passage" quest, so you can begin doing Baal runs, which, again, will give you the most EXP.
