Why do people boo brock lesnar

People will always question the motives of the UFC to put an inexperienced fighter in high-profile bouts compared to other guys who have done more for the sport. But despite these misunderstandings and inabilities to accept Lesnar as a perennial championship contender, fans still love to see him fight. Because no matter what fights he adds to his resume, nothing is more exciting than seeing a guy with his size and athleticism take on some of the best mixed martial artists in the world.

Honestly, not really. It's still hard to determine exactly how good Lesnar is within MMA's biggest industry. His lack of experience, quick climb up the heavyweight ladder and even quicker downfall to Cain Velasquez has left many many wondering if Lesnar is in fact "the real deal. But despite initial concerns about Lesnar's skill set inside the cage, his MMA stardom still reigns true.

And while he often supersedes the rest of the UFC's fighters and capitalizes on more publicity than the next guy, Lesnar's mass appeal and quick emergence in the sport is more loved than hated. These guys are important to the sport. Their outgoing comments, interviews and trash-talking, along with the hatred that fans have for those things, allows the sport to transcend normalcy.

But beyond these three guys, is there any fighter who possesses a "Don't Take Nothing" mentality more than Brock Lesnar? Not really. And that's what makes Lesnar the fighter he is today. After watching him go a few times I started thinking the same thing, if this guy could learn some submissions and the science behind them and some decent kickboxing skills Brock would be a force to be reckoned with. And now six years later Brock is sitting on top of the world with the gold strapped around his waist and millions of people hating him, but this time it's for no reason.

I can relate, when Matt Hughes destroyed Royce Gracie in under five minutes I was outraged, I found every excuse in the book why Gracie lost And there I sat as a common wrestler with a few years of MMA training destroyed one of my Heroes in the cage in under five minutes.

My last stance to win back any glory for my warrior was that the ref stopped the fight, Gracie would never tap and if this was the old days blah blah blah—Hughes beat the crap out of Gracie and that's the bottom line. Now Cage Ragers is it that much different I think the biggest reason every one hates Brock Lesnar is they don't see anyone on their radar that can beat him. I honestly believe a great majority of MMA fans wanted Fedor to join the UFC, they were hoping "The Last Emperor" would take the challenge and with all their fan support kind of like Hulk Hogan the training, the prayers and the vitamins, their hero could knock Brock off of the throne.

But instead he ran away from the biggest challenge out there and sought to fight elsewhere making Fedor look like a coward to UFC and Brock Lesnar fans, and at the same time leaving Fedor fans wondering and making excuses in denial that he could beat Brock.

Lesnar has the privilege of working when he pleases and his lack of passion is evident in the effort he puts into matches and the same, generic promos over and over again. Disclaimer: This article is the opinion of the author and doesn't necessarily represent Sportskeeda's views It's crazy to think that The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar 's name has become as polarizing as it is today.

He's just there to collect the paychecks From one point of view, it's hard to blame Brock Lesnar. Edited by Riju Dasgupta 1. Brock Lesnar Vince McMahon. Login to post your comment.
